Corporate Plan 2014-2021

Rother District Council is committed to playing its part in delivering a good quality of life for all who live and work in the District of Rother. We recognise that we need to clearly communicate our long-term plans for the future.

What do we mean by our Corporate Plan?

Primarily, we see it as a document that sets down in one place our vision for the future and the specific ways in which we, as a District Council will both lead and contribute to the achievement of this vision.

The Plan will

  • guide and influence the ways our services are planned and delivered;
  • describe the priorities on which the Council will focus;
  • set out what kind of an organisation the Council will be in achieving success.

Basing our Plans on the principles of the Balanced Scorecard, we are determined to be able to measure our success in the future through the publication of our Annual Performance Plan.

The Corporate Programme accompanies the Plan and sets out the priority projects to be undertaken to achieve the vision. The Corporate Plan and Programme 2014-21 was formally adopted by Full Council 29 September 2014.
