Our aim is to change the Council’s structure to   allow for a  more effective resident focused organisation by the end of 2023.

What have we achieved?

• Senior Management has been re-organised to better reflect priorities
• The Planning Department has been reorganised to integrate with the rest of the Council

In progress:

• Implementing a new staff structure
• Reducing the number of complaints through improved self-help and the use of digital services
• A significant improvement in planning performance including halving the number of applications waiting to be processed since September 2021
