Due to internal promotion, we are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our IT team as a first line IT Technician on our Service Desk.

As an IT Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing generalist IT support to employees and Councillors while supporting the Service Desk and Infrastructure Manager with technical projects. You will be responsible for a range of IT helpdesk duties, ensuring the smooth operation of key IT systems and equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven IT Support Technician to join a dynamic team. You will provide first rate support and have excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide IT helpdesk support, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues on Windows, Office, and the 160 systems we run.
• Deploy IT equipment, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
• Maintain and update IT equipment inventory, performing upkeep as needed.
