The UK Health and Security Agency (UKHSA) has issued a Yellow Heat-health alert from 15th August 2026 at 10am until 18th August 2026 at 9am.

During this period of hot weather, bottled water, sun cream and hats will be available during office hours at the Town Hall, Bexhill, for those sleeping rough in the District. In addition, further support can be accessed at the following locations:
