Hi, as an event organizer, we would like to know if all the events in Bexhill could be shown on the Rother web site. A poster was done by RDC this year, it was put all round town and shown in London main line stations, but left off the two major events in Bexhill – the Horse show which has been running for over 100 years and the Bexhill 100 classic & custom car show in its 14th year and promotes the racing heritage of our town. The Bexhill events have been promoted over the last couple of years specifically through support from the Bexhill Town Centre Steering Group, which has included both the production of events postcards, posters and also promotion at the London Train Stations.
The events are also promoted through our destination marketing campaign, 1066 Country https://www.visit1066country.com/explore-1066-country/bexhill-on-sea/bexhill-events and event organisers are able to upload their own events onto the site – please follow this link – https://www.visit1066country.com/whats-on/submit-event
There is a large programme of events within the town so the campaign focused on the Summer of Events for print purposes and directed visitors to the 1066 Country website for more information and for a full events listing for the town. We do not currently have an events listing on the Council’s website as this is all hosted on the 1066 Country website where visitors are directed to. (20/09/2018)
