The annual subscription charge for the garden waste collection service will be increasing from July 2024 to £81 (£3.24* per collection) for the first bin and £66 for each additional bin. We appreciate this is a large increase, but this is an optional service and we hope that you feel that at £3.24* per collection the service still offers value for money.
During the renewal window, payments can be made via Credit/Debit card using our website. Alternatively, you may wish to make payment via Direct Debit (see below).
Direct Debit payments will only be taken annually, following Advance Notice communications which will be sent to the information we have on file for your account (via Email, SMS or Letter). Should you wish to complete a Direct Debit mandate, this can be done online at any time using our online Direct Debit form.
All current subscribers will receive their invitation to renew at the end of April/beginning of May 2024.
Before renewing, we kindly ask residents to review the Terms and Conditions of the service.
Please Note: The current cost is £55 per bin and you may have up to 3 bins. The 2024/25 subscription year (from 15th July 2024) will be subject to the above-mentioned price increases. The subscription year runs from 15th July until 14th July annually, regardless of the date you subscribe to the service.
* £3.24 per collection is based on 25 collections per subscription year, with a 1 bin subscription.
Want to cancel?
If you wish to stop receiving your garden waste collections after 14 July 2024, please complete the “Do not renew” form, available by clicking the button below.
By completing this form, your Garden Waste Collection service will still continue until 14th July 2024.
To complete the Do Not Renew form, you will need your Garden Waste Reference number to hand (an 8-digit number beginning with a 9). This can be found on previous years’ renewal information, or via completing our Forgotten Reference Number form.
Want to reduce the number of bins?
If you wish to reduce the number of Garden Waste Bin(s) associated with your collection, you can now complete our online “Request to reduce bins” webform, available by clicking the button below. The Garden Waste Team will only respond if the request results in amendments to an upcoming or scheduled payment.
To complete the Reduce Bin Request form, you will need your Garden Waste Reference number to hand (an 8-digit number beginning with a 9). This can be found on previous years’ renewal information, or via completing our Forgotten Reference Number form.
