Salary: £27,944 - £33,245 per annum. Starting salary dependent on qualifications and experience

Rother District Council are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work as part of our Digital Services Team, delivering efficiencies and enhancements across the Council.
You will need to be pro-active, confident and an excellent communicator as you will be working with people of varying technical expertise.
You will be responsible for the design, development, testing and implementation of any new bespoke software solutions as well as development and support for the Council’s key systems, including the Website and Intranet, Azure & AWS environments, & Data Integrations.
There will be a requirement to support website development, providing transactional services to residents and delivering a mobile friendly solution, so experience in this area is essential.
You will have skills and experience in various software applications and programming languages, for example, expertise in some of the following HTML, CSS, JavaScript & jQuery, Web Services, C#, PHP, Python, ASP.NET and SQL. MS Power Platform and SharePoint experience would be desirable.
For the right candidate we would be able to offer additional training and in return we are looking for someone who can demonstrate their ability to learn new skills quickly, have proven software development skills, and an enthusiasm to drive change and develop new solutions.
