Salary: £24,847 to £27,309 per annum. Starting salary dependent on qualifications and experience.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our shared Environmental Health Service as a Business Support Officer, which covers Rother and Wealden Districts. We are committed to delivering high-quality services protecting public health and safety and improving conditions. As a Business Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting various essential functions within the Service.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Responding to customer complaints and enquiries, on food safety, licensing and pollution
- The administration of licences and disabled facilities grants including means testing and payments
Key Skills:
- Excellent Communication skills, written and verbal
- Working under pressure and dealing with competing demands and deadlines
- Excellent IT skills, using a number of databases
- High level of attention to detail
