The original statutory members of the Partnership were Rother District Council, Sussex Police and East Sussex County Council. Now the Partnership also includes East Sussex Fire and Rescue, Hastings and Rother Primary Care Trust and Sussex Police Authority.
The role of the Partnership is to work with other statutory and voluntary agencies within the Rother district to develop and implement a crime and disorder strategy.
“The many professional members of the Safer Rother Partnership work extremely hard on your behalf: to reduce crime, the fear of crime and incidents of anti-social behaviour.
“However, please remember that you, too, must be an active member of the community and report any crime or anti-social behaviour. Together we will continue to enjoy one of the safest places to live by supporting the vulnerable and our community.”
