Have you ever thought about selling your product to Rother District Council? We are a business that spends around £14m every year on procuring works, goods and services from external organisations.
Rother District Council’s standing orders require tenders and quotes to be sought as follows:
- Purchases up to £4,999 – managers choose suppliers and negotiate prices, seeking to use contract arrangements where they exist, must obtain a minimum of one written quote;
- Purchases from £5,000 to £49,999 – quotations are invited from at least three suitable companies;
- For purchases £50,000 and above · the tender procedure applies as per the Procurement Procedure Rules, opportunities are advertised on South East Shared Services Portal, Contracts Finder and relevant trade journals;
- Contracts where the value exceeds the threshold laid down by the EU for goods, services and works must be advertised in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU).
Further information on the tendering process for Rother District Council can be found in our Part 4 – 7 – Procurement Procedure Rules.
