Question:
With visitors cancelling planned visit’s here due to the closure of East Beach toilets, people unable to wash hands or use basic facilities of a toilet just what are the council plans. The toilet has not been sold, and the for sale sign a constant reminder of how the paying public are let down by their council. A sea side town that is a perfect spot for visitors and families that cannot provide toilets. Shameful!
The norovirus should be a wake up call. Hand washing is essential for controlling the spread of this contagious disease. Where can dog walkers wash their hands when clearing up after their dogs? Where do beach hut owners go when they need to use a toilet? They pay rent every year. Visitors must pay to park along East Beach, where do they go when a toilet is needed?
It is quite unbelievable that in this day and age a town like Bexhill cannot provide a basic human need.
Egerton Park is another example of this councils failure to provide for the visitor’s.
