Are you confident, self-motivated and experienced in working with the general public in a public safety role?

Do you enjoy a varied and challenging role which includes spending a significant amount of time outdoors in all weathers?

We’re seeking enthusiastic and committed individuals to join our Coastal Operations Team. Whilst primarily based at Camber Sands, some shifts may be based at other Rother beaches like Bexhill. As key members of the team, successful applicants will support Coastal Operations Officers in the safe and effective management of our beaches and car parks.

To succeed in this role, candidates will have excellent communication skills, the ability to handle difficult situations, and ideally, previous experience in a similar field. The nature of the role is challenging and often involves working under pressure, but the right candidates will find it motivating and rewarding.

Beach Patrol staff are a vital part of our summer provision, providing information and guidance to visitors, reuniting lost and found children, administering first aid and patrolling the beaches to help maintain a safe environment for the public.
