An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Rother District Council’s Licensing Team, part of the shared Environmental Health Service with Wealden District Council.

The area is predominantly rural and located on the south coast, featuring large areas of outstanding natural beauty such as the Sussex Downs, Pevensey Levels, Cuckmere Haven, Seven Sisters, and Hastings Country Park. Key towns within the district include Bexhill, Crowborough, Uckfield, Hailsham, and Rye.

The main aim of the Licensing Team is to protect public safety. The successful postholder will predominantly deal with taxi, alcohol, animal, and gambling licensing, while also supporting other areas such as pavement licensing and road closures.
