Protecting the coast between Eastbourne and Pevensey is the aim of a long-term plan being developed by the Environment Agency – and they are looking for comments on their plan from people in Rother.

The Pevensey Bay to Eastbourne Coastal Management Scheme is developing a long-term strategy to protect our coastline from the increasing impacts of climate change.

Spanning the stretch from Holywell to Cooden Beach, the plan focuses on the interventions needed beyond 2037.

By sharing their thoughts, residents will help guide future coastal planning – and they could win a £100 gift voucher!
