It’s time to renew your Garden Waste subscription for the year 15 July 2020 to 14 July 2021.
For the first time in 5 years the annual charge will increase by £5 to £40 per bin per annum. This reflects the increasing cost of providing this valued service. Despite this increase, Rother District Council continues to offer the lowest subscription rate compared to neighbouring authorities.
We appreciate your support throughout the COVID-19 crisis when it has been necessary to suspend your garden waste collections so we can prioritise essential services. We hope you will understand the difficult circumstances our contractor faces and how hard they are working to resume these collections as soon as possible.
As a thank you, for the year 2020/21 we will give you a £5 discount meaning your subscription will remain at £35 per bin for next year.
This offer is only available to existing customers who renew and return a completed direct debit form by 17 May 2020.
If we have not received your direct debit form or your request to renew the service by 17 May 2020 your service will end on 14 July 2020 and your bin will be collected and re-used.
If you then change your mind and wish to continue your subscription, you will need to register as a new customer and join a waiting list until a space becomes available.
If you have already registered for Direct Debit, then you do not need to do anything. Your payment will be taken on 3rd June and your service will renew automatically.
