It’s time to renew your Garden Waste subscription for the year 15 July 2021 to 14 July 2022.

The annual charge has increased to £45 per bin. Rother District Council continues to offer the lowest subscription rate compared to neighbouring authorities. Why has the cost increased?

If we have not received your payment by 3 June 2021 your service will end on 14 July 2021 and your bin will be collected and re-used.

If you then change your mind and wish to continue your subscription, you will need to register as a new customer and join a waiting list until a space becomes available.

If you have already registered for Direct Debit, then you do not need to do anything. Your payment will be taken on 3rd June and your service will renew automatically.

How to renew

To renew your Garden Waste Collection Service (For the 2021/22 period, ending 14th July 2022), please click the “Renew My Service” button below.


If you wish to update your details or amend the number of bins at your property, please email GardenWaste@rother.gov.uk – including your nine-digit reference number (Available in Emails, Text Messages and Letters from us regarding the service).

Upon cleared funds, we will provide you with one sticker per bin – which you must place following the instructions on the accompanying letter. From 15th July 2021, Brown Bins without stickers will not be collected by our refuse contractors.
