The consultation documents can be viewed and downloaded from the Rye Neighbourhood Plan webpage on the RDC website.
Alternatively, the documents are available to view during normal working hours at the following locations:

- Rye Library, 30 High Street, Rye, TN31 7JF
Representations
PLEASE NOTE: This consultation is a re-run of the Regulation 16 consultation held earlier this year (24 January 2025 to 7 March 2025). It is important to note that there have been no additional changes to the Neighbourhood Plan, compared to the version that was last consulted on. The only difference is the inclusion of the Modification Statement. If you provided comments during the earlier consultation, you do not need to re-submit, the comments received previously will be carried forward and submitted at examination.
How can I submit my representations?
Any person, business or organisation may comment on the Plan or supporting documents.
Representations can be submitted via the following methods:
- by responding via the online form here
- by downloading the form here and emailing it to ryenp.reps@rother.gov.uk
- by submitting a paper version of the form to the Council offices listed above
- by post, addressed to the Head of Planning – Strategy and Planning, Consultation on Submission Rye Neighbourhood Plan Review, Rother District Council, Town Hall, Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex, TN39 3JX.
All representations must be received by the Council no later than 4.30pm on Tuesday 28 October 2025. Any submissions received after this deadline may not be considered.
Please note that all representations will be publicly available and will be forwarded for consideration by the person appointed to carry out an examination of the Plan Review.
Anyone making a representation may request to be notified of the Council’s decision to ‘make’ the Rye Neighbourhood Plan Review by ticking the relevant box on the representation form.
