We know that some of our residents and businesses in the district, including at Westfield, Brede, Crowhurst, and Sedlescombe have been affected by water supply problems due to a burst pipe in the Hastings and St Leonards area.
Southern Water has completed work on the pipe which is located in woodland. Most areas have had supply resume, however, some areas are expected to see disruption into Tuesday evening (7th May 2024).
Most areas will have had their water supply resume over the course of the weekend; however, some areas are expected to see disruption go into Tuesday evening (7th May 2024). A fleet of water tankers are delivering to key locations and bottled water is being supplied to affected customers on the Priority Services Register.
Three bottled water stations are also open at Asda in St Leonards (TN37 7AA), at Tesco in Church Wood Drive, St Leonards (TN38 9RB), and at Sea Road in Hastings (TN38 0AG).
