Rother District Council is very concerned about misinformation currently circulating on social media about the business units at the Colonnade in Bexhill.

Comments include posts on Facebook that suggest the council has offered some of the units to new traders at no cost.

This is completely untrue.

We are currently marketing the building and seeking bids from all interested parties – and there has been a lot of interest.

Meanwhile, we are very pleased about how well the repair work has progressed at the site. This allowed us to partially reopen the space over Easter, ahead of a planned full reopening in the summer.
