Many of Rye’s open spaces are owned and managed by Rye Town Council. However, the places below are managed by Rother District Council.

Mason’s Field, Mason Road

A large open space with facilities for children’s play, basketball and informal recreation.

The Salts, Fishmarket Road

A grassy site for information recreation including basketball, five-a-side football and a children’s play area.  Note that the skate boarding facility is managed by Rye Town Council.  Within easy walking distance of the town centre.

King’s Avenue Open Space

A small open space surrounded by housing on the outskirts of Rye, with a well-equipped children’s play area. On-road parking.
