Winchelsea beach is adjacent to an inshore area famous for its bird life, with the benefit of a sea wall, it is ideal for casual walks or playing on the beach. Pett Level beach is next to the cliffs and has access to the petrified forest at low tide.
These beaches are unsupervised; the closest lifeguarded beach is in Camber or Hastings. Speak to our Coastal Team for further information on 01797 225207 or by emailing bexhillcoastaloffice@rother.gov.uk.
