News and Updates

Best Demolition started on site in May and have since worked through the summer to help deliver our project of knocking down the former Skinner’s Shed building. Unfortunately, whilst demolishing the building we had identified asbestos embedded in the foundations which has caused delays to programme. Whilst the building is now gone, all that remains is the levelling of the site and the cleaning and disposal of all asbestos-containing materials (ACM) so that the Skinner’s Shed site is safe for future use. All ACM and other material has been and will continue to be thoroughly tested before being either safely disposed of or, once certified to be completely clean, used to level the site.
