As of 31 March 2022, the Community Trigger has been activated 8 times since it came into force in October 2014.
6 didn’t meet the criteria in some cases this was because the person activating the Community Trigger was not reporting 3 incidents in six months.
Of the 8 community triggers, two met the threshold and in both cases case reviews took place.
Cases were processed with partner agencies. All received additional work. The break down since 2014 is:
