Bexhill Jobs and Apprenticeships Fair 2026

The10th annual Bexhill Jobs & Apprenticeships Fair is returning to the De La Warr Pavilion this week, offering a vast range of business, employment and skills opportunities for attendees at this key event for local economic growth in Bexhill and the wider region.
Over 50 businesses and organisations will be attending, recruiting into jobs and opportunities in sectors including Financial Services, Technology, Hospitality, Health & Social Care, Professional Services, Manufacturing, Engineering, Sport & Leisure, Construction, Education, and Transport.
The Fair, being held in association with Bexhill College and Talent Accelerator, will include hundreds of full and part-time job vacancies, apprenticeships and training and skills development opportunities, as well as the chance for business attendees to engage and network with other participants through the day.

High Street Boost free workshop coming to Bexhill

The High Street Boost program is coming to Bexhill, with a free workshop this month to help local businesses to stand out and attract more customers.
The Workshop, supported by the East Sussex Growth Hub and led by retail specialist Graham Soult of Canny Insights, will give local independent businesses practical insights and advice on how to strengthen their presence on the high street, adapt and thrive.
The main workshop event will be on 10 March between 5:30pm and 7:00pm at the Friends Meeting House in Bexhill, with the opportunity for local businesses to additionally gain from free 1-2-1 retail support advice tailored to their specific circumstances on 11 and 12 March.
AI and automation practical workshop for SMEs

A workshop to help local SMEs use AI and automation to boost practical efficiencies and help their businesses run more smoothly is being offered by Portobello Business Centre.
The workshop is aimed at helping SMEs understand how AI and automation can help their business, with explanations and demonstration of everyday uses of this technology, including time saving tips for scaling operations, and advice on how to responsibly and effectively integrate AI and automation into your existing business.
This free workshop, being led by Charlotte Webb from Artemis Marketing, will be held on 25 March 2026 in the evening between 6:00pm and 8:30pm, at The Civic Centre in Uckfield.
The event is part of the East Sussex Digital Growth Series, supported with funding through the East Sussex Growth Hub and UK Government, and designed to boost digital business growth and skills for SMEs in East Sussex.
UK Government grant boost for EV charger installation

Electric Vehicle (EV) charger installation will be supported by a grants boost announced by the UK government last week, to help save up to £500 per new charge point installation for businesses, property owners and occupiers.
The upgraded grant offer, available in the coming financial year from 1 April 2026, will cover almost half the typical cost of installing an EV charge point, with the announcement also indicating that the grants scheme would be simplified and streamlined to help those interested access suitable discount schemes for their circumstances more easily.
Rye Business Clinic for SMEs and Sole Traders

A Business Clinic is being held in Rye this month, aimed at helping local sole traders and SMEs to receive advice and support to deal effectively with business issues.
Being hosted by Ground Up Business and Joanna Lush Consulting, the structured two-hour session will give attendees the chance to raise challenges their business may be facing, and discuss potential solutions aimed to help make progress and move forward with confidence.
The event is being held on 18 March between 6:30pm and 8:30pm in the evening at the Ground Up Coffee Shop in Rye.
