The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) and the Met Office have issued a RED Heat Health Alert in effect from 01:00 on 24/06/2026 until 23:00 on 25/06/2026. A RED severe weather warning for extreme heat is also in place from 09:00 on 24/06/2026 until 21:00 on 25/06/2026.

To support those sleeping rough, water and sun cream are available at the Town Hall during office hours.
