Waste, recycling and garden waste collection changes

With both Christmas Day and New years Day not falling on a weekend there are more collection changes this year to accommodate the catch up.

Here is a summary of Christmas collections 2025. Please look up the date your waste or recycling collection would normally fall and then in the revised collection date column is the day your collection will be taking place. For example if you have a Thursday collection and would be due on Thursday 25th December then your collection will take place on the revised date of Saturday 27th December. Waste and recycling collections return to normal from week commencing Monday 12th January 2026.

As usual garden waste collections are suspended for 2 weeks from Wednesday 24th December, the collections will resume from week commencing Thursday 8th January. These crews are used to support the other collection rounds who experience increased volumes of waste and recycling over the Christmas period.
