The Council is able to provide information contained in our leaflets and documents in alternative formats including large print, Braille, tape/CD or in another language. This is stated on many of our documents and on the website.

If we receive a request for information in an alternative format, we will discuss with the you what information you specifically require to best meet your needs.

Sussex Consortium Translation and Interpreting Services

Rother District Council is a member of the Sussex Consortium Translation and Interpreting Partnership.

This contract provides:

• translation and interpreting of different languages
• interpreting for people with hearing impairment
• transcription for people with vision impairment

The partnership has been working together to procure translation services that can be accessed by public authorities across the County.
