Crowhurst Neighbourhood Plan
Crowhurst Parish Council formally submitted an application for the designation of a Neighbourhood Plan Area in October 2015. In accordance with Part 2, Regulation 5 (1) of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended), Crowhurst Parish Council (as the relevant body) submitted to Rother District Council the following:
- A map which identifies the area to which the area application relates [341kb]
- A statement explaining why the area is considered appropriate to be designated as a neighbourhood area and why Crowhurst Parish Council is a relevant body for the purposes of section 61G of the Town & Country Planning Act 1990 [92kb]
In accordance with the Regulation (6), Rother District Council publicised the area application for a period of 4 weeks, between 23rd October and 20th November 2015, and invited representations on the area designation.
In November 2015, it was confirmed by the Council that, in accordance with Regulation 7 of the Neighbourhood Plan (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended), the marked area shown on the map above (being that of the Parish boundary) was formally designated as the Crowhurst Parish Neighbourhood Plan Area.
