Ticehurst Neighbourhood Plan
Ticehurst Parish Council formally submitted an application for the designation of a Neighbourhood Plan Area in September 2015. In accordance with Part 2, Regulation 5 (1) of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012, Ticehurst Parish Council (as the relevant body) submitted to Rother District Council the following:
- A map which identifies the area to which the application relates [1Mb]
- A statement explaining why the area is considered appropriate to be designated as a neighbourhood area and why Ticehurst Parish Town Council is a relevant body for the purposes of section 61G of the Town & Country Planning Act 1990 [191kb]
In accordance with the Regulation (6), Rother District Council publicised the area application for a period of 4 weeks, between 18th September and 16th October 2015, and invited representations on the area designation.
In October 2015, it was confirmed by the Council that, in accordance with Regulation 7 of the Neighbourhood Plan (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended), the marked area shown on the map above (being that of the Parish boundary) was formally designated as the Ticehurst Parish Neighbourhood Plan Area.
