Rother District Council

Rother District Council provides facilities for beach huts in specific areas on our beaches.

In Bexhill the Council currently offers approx. 20 temporary sites and 100 permanent beach hut plots available for licence. These are situated along East Parade, West Parade and Glyne Gap.

The licence fees for plots for 2010/11 on East Parade & Glyne Gap are £229 p.a. Tent sites on West Parade are £172 for a six month licence.

A waiting list is currently in place for people wanting to purchase a plot licence, however you should be aware that at present all the waiting lists are closed.

Rother District Council does not own any rental beach huts, these are privately owned concessions which rent beach huts. These concessions can be contacted as follows:
