The majority of people will use a funeral director for a funeral, but it is possible to make the necessary arrangements independently. However, we must point out that when arranging a funeral independently, there are certain aspects that you may find distressing, so any decision must be carefully considered.

Rother District Council do not provide a funeral directing service and do not wish to promote any particular type of arrangement or choice.
