Museums and galleries help to preserve our past by safeguarding collections of material. Their task is then to present them in an accessible and informative way to all.

Each of the museums and galleries featured have attained registered museums status, which means you can be confident they have achieved a set standard in the care and management of collections, as well as having sound constitution and finances.

Anyone interested in making loans, donations or bequests should contact the museum or gallery direct.

Visitors are advised to check information on access and opening hours before setting out.

Please note Battle Museum will re-open at Easter and the new website is under development and will go live shortly.
