The Local Government Boundary Commission for England (LGBCE) carried out an electoral review of Rother in September 2015 – December 2016.  The aim of the review was to deliver electoral equality for voters in local elections and recommend ward boundaries that means each councillor represents approximately the same number of electors. 

The Rother (Electoral Changes) Order 2016, to implement recommendations made by the LGBCE for new boundaries in Rother, was made on 15 December 2016.  These new ward arrangements will come into force at the local elections on 2 May 2019.
