The Local Government Act 2000 placed a duty on Local Authorities to prepare Community Plans and establish Local Strategic Partnerships.

The Rother Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) is responsible for developing and overseeing delivery of the Sustainable Community Strategy for Rother.

Based on consultation with local residents through the Rother Local Action Plans Support Programme, the strategy is designed to help bring about improvements in the economic, social and environmental wellbeing of our area.
