The Plans were produced by Atkins Landscape Architects with the input of the E.P.I.C. Steering Group and in light of the consultation undertaken in autumn 2006 together with research and specialist studies.  They will form part of a bid later this year to the Heritage Lottery Fund’s Parks for People grant programme to take the E.P.I.C. project forward.

The Audience Development and Access Plan sets out ways of bringing about greater use and enjoyment of the Park by both existing users and those we hope will benefit from Park in the future.  It explores barriers to use of the park such as physical access into and around the Park.

The Conservation Management Plan looks at the historic use of the park, its landscape and facilities, and the key issues relating to it.  It recommends a set of overarching principles to be applied to the future management of the park and specific projects and improvements.

Details of future consultation exercises in connection with E.P.I.C. will be posted here.
