4 x Information (Environmental Health) Officer

Salary: £26,247 up to £38,742 per annum. Starting salary dependent on qualifications and experience

Contract Type: Full Time - 37 hours per week

Contract Length: Temporary Contract - until 31st March 2021

An opportunity to work in the AONB of the Weald of Sussex, for the shared environmental health service for Rother and Wealden, the main towns being Bexhill-on-Sea, Crowborough, Hailsham, Rye and Uckfield.

We wish to appoint up to 4 suitably qualified persons to inform businesses, communities and voluntary groups of hazards and control measures for Covid-19, focussing on high risk places, locations and communities.  Ensuring appropriate control measures are adopted and maintained by including enforcement action as required.

You may be an environmental health officer or if you have comparable qualifications, knowledge and skills.  You must be an enthusiastic person, committed to the protection of public health and safety and the ability to immediately work on your own initiative within a supportive team.

Occasional evening and weekend work are expected.
