Business Support Officer – Planning

Salary: £23,152 per annum

Contract Type: Full Time - 37 hours per week

Contract Length: Permanent Contract

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Planning Business Support Team (PBS) as a Business Support Officer. We are committed to delivering high-quality services that positively impact our community, join our team and make a difference as we work together to support the growth and development of our area.

As a Business Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting various essential functions within the Planning Service.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with the cleansing of data in preparation for the migration of the local land charges register to HM Land Registry
  • General administrative duties within the Land Charge Service including registration of new Land Charge searches and recording information provided
  • Provide additional generic support within the Planning Business Support team as required and agreed by Business Support and Land Charges Team Leader.

Key Skills:

  • Excellent Communication skills, written and verbal
  • Working under pressure and dealing with competing demands and deadlines
  • Excellent IT skills, working with both electronic and paper maps and plans
  • High level of attention to detail
