Salary: Up to £26,210 per annum + On Call Payments (Starting salary dependent on qualifications and experience)
Contract Type: Full Time - 37 hours per week

We are seeking 2 experienced general Building Maintenance Operatives to join our small in house Maintenance Team; our depot is based in Bexhill but the role covers sites across the Rother District. The Building Maintenance team play a critical role within the Council and cover a wide variety of general maintenance duties.
We are looking for a strong team player who embraces change positively, with excellent time management skills and is prepared to work flexibly in accordance with the needs of the business. This will include being part of an out-of-hours rota to cover emergencies in the evenings and at weekends. The position will involve a lot of travelling to and from varied places of work and appointments. A company vehicle, uniform and PPE will be provided for business use only. A full driving licence is required of all applicants.
The ideal candidate will have a multi-skilled building trade background with a bias in carpentry with proven experience in civil works, fencing and other general building skills and also be committed to further training and development.
