Community and Environment

Our aim at Rother District Council is to safeguard health and public safety.

Rother's environment in terms of tranquillity, air and water quality is generally good. It is a beautiful place to visit, live and work from the High Weald to the Coast. Rother Council is directly responsible for keeping our land and roads clear of litter etc. The Environmental Health Service works to improve the health and environment of the communities of Rother by properly enforcing laws relating to pollution control, food safety, health and safety and licensing. We also provide a pest control and lost, found and stray dog service.

You can use this web-site to get information, make a complaint, download application forms and comment on our service.
