Important Points

FOOD WASTE, PLASTIC PACKAGING, STRAPPING etc
MUST NOT BE PLACED IN THE BIN WITH YOUR CARD.

Can I mix garden waste and cardboard?
Yes! at the composting plant, they are shredded and mixed together, and card aids the composting process.

If I haven't got a green garden wheelie bin?
Most properties have been issued with garden bins, but if you declined a garden bin originally, contact us to order one.
Only town and village centre properties have bag recycling, and red bags are not available for other areas.

Very small amounts of card - flat and no larger than A4 (magazine) size, can be placed with your plastic bottle and cans recycling, but most card and large card must be in the garden wheelie bin.

For special and particular situations, contact us for advice.
