Exploring the Countryside in Rother on your local Health Walk

Health Walk : ImageActive Rother is keen to support the health walks that occur across the district. There are several keen volunteers who are helping the residents of Rother walk there way to health on organised led walks. Not only do these walks help to keep the participants fit and healthy but are a brilliant way to socialise and make new friends. These walks are kindly supported by the British Trust of Conservation Volunteers, BTCV.

The Bexhill seafront walkers out every Friday at 11am from the Café in the Colonnade on Bexhill Seafront promenade behind the De La Warr Pavilion.

In Rye the Walkers meet on a Monday at 10am in the Gibbets Marsh Car Park.

In Battle the health walk explores the wondrous countryside hidden on either side of the High Street. They kick off at 9.30am and meet at the steps of the Battle Abbey.

Contact Tim Hills on 01424 446395 or Adrian Gaylon: adrian.gaylon@rother.gov.uk for more walk details.
