If you do not currently have a green bin for recycling, you can order a new bin online.
Rubbish and recycling update
From Monday 30th of June.
You should now have all of the information you need about the new service. If you still haven't received an information pack and calendar please use our facility to check when your next collections are.
You can also download a copy of the New Collection Service booklet. This contains information on the additional materials that you can recycle and which bin they should be placed in.
Please be aware for the first week of the new service, everyone will receive a rubbish collection. This may mean that you have up to three rubbish collections in a row, this is to assist with the roll-out of the new service.
Residents on alternate weekly collection now using the green bin for recycling will now have much increased storage capacity which will help over this period.
If you find that in this time your recycling bin becomes full, please collect any additional recycling in bags and place it alongside your green wheeled bin on the day of your first recycling collection under the new service.
If you are still unsure about how you should be collecting your rubbish and recycling more information can be found in the FAQ section at the back of the booklet.
We have hosted a number of drop in events across the district and just one now remains in Robertsbridge - please pop along and speak to an advisor if you have any concerns.
- Robertsbridge Market - Saturday 5th July, 10am - 12pm
You can continue to use your black wheeled bin or black sack. The day or week we collect this rubbish may change, check your new calendar when it arrives.
Your green wheeled bin will no longer be used for garden waste, instead it will be used for recycling.

If you have not registered for garden waste collections, you may register for the next phase due in November. In the meantime, you will need to compost your garden waste or take it to your local household waste recycling site.
If you have already registered but are not on the first phase of collections we will keep your registration on file and contact you later in the year.
