Parks and Green Spaces in Rye

Rother District Council manages three public green spaces in Rye. Other public green spaces in the area around Rye are generally managed by Parish Councils.

Mason's Field, Mason Road

A large open space with facilities for children's play, basketball and informal recreation.

The Salts, Fishmarket Road

A grassy site for information recreation including basketball, five-a-side football and a children's play area.  Note that the skate boarding facility is managed by Rye Town Council.  Within easy walking distance of the town centre.

King's Avenue Open Space

An open space incorporating a small facility for children's play.  The council plans to enhance the site for the benefit of all residents through landscaping and improved facilities designed in consultation with local people.
