Camber Sands is popular with film-makers because of the dramatic landscape and ease of use for short periods of time. The filming details within these pages cover filming at Camber Sands and the dunes as well as Winchelsea beach and Pett Level.

Much of the income raised from filming at Camber Sands is reinvested into the conservation of the dunes.

The 1066 Country Film Office will be happy to guide you through the applications process to film or photograph at Camber Sands.

We require:

• Advance notice of when you would like to visit
• Payment in advance by cheque made out to "Hastings Borough Council" or payment by Credit/Debit card (over the phone), prior to filming
• Proof of your public liability insurance Before a permit is issued, we need to see proof that you have public liability insurance. You must have cover up to: Photography - £2 million / Filming - £5 million
• A signed copy of our filming agreement (which you can print off, fill in and send to us by fax)

No filming or photography may commence until we have received the above documents and appropriate payment and sent you written confirmation.

There is an on-line copy of our Standard Facilities Agreement for you to look at, and once you have arranged the visit with us you can print it off, fill it in and send or fax it back to us. The Terms & Conditions which apply to this agreement are also available.
