Local Regeneration Partnerships

The Council works closely with local regeneration partnerships to help deliver its regeneration objectives.

Each partnership is independent and broadly based, comprising representatives from the private, statutory, community and voluntary sectors, with decision making achieved by consensus working.  Each Partnership has developed its own strategy and action plan based on local needs.

Over the years the regeneration partnerships have successfully delivered a range of initiatives across a number of activities, including:

  • Economic Development
  • Tourism Promotion
  • Crime Prevention
  • Rural Restructuring
  • Health
  • Education
  • Community Projects
  • Arts
  • Leisure

See the individual Partnerships pages for further details.
