Rother District Council

The Council Tax for 2006/7 was agreed by Full Council on 6 March 2006.

The Council set the Band 'D' Council Tax for Rother District at £137.15, an increase of 4.92% over last year's figure of £130.72. This represents an additional 12p per week being payable for the services provided by Rother, by people living in a Band 'D' property.

East Sussex County Council had earlier set its Band 'D' amount at £1,004.10, ( 4.71% increase), the Sussex Police Authority had set its Band 'D' amount at £115.74 (4.98% increase) and East Sussex Fire Authority set its amount at £70.26 (4.94% increase). The total, excluding individual Parish or Town Council amounts, is therefore £1327.25, a 4.77% increase.
