Rye Castle Museum is housed in a 13th century castle, overlooking Rye Bay and Romney Marsh. The castle has recently undergone extensive repairs resulting in an exciting new phase in the museum's history, with the medieval architecture of the castle revealed in full. A large-scale model of Romney Marsh demonstrates its historic features and complements the wonderful view of the marsh and the sea from the castle terrace.
