Rother District Council

Horse riding is permitted at several sites within the district.

• The Down, Down Road, Bexhill-on-sea - there are signposted permitted horse rides across the Down which are free to use.
• Broad Oak Park, Broad Oak Lane, Bexhill-on-sea - there are signposted horse rides across the park. A permit must be obtained from the council to use these at a cost of £18.00. For further details please telephone (01424) 787531.

Other horse rides exist at Highwoods, Peartree Lane, Bexhill-on-sea. These are administered by Highwoods Preservation Society, who should be contacted for further details. See link opposite.
