Stakeholder Consultation to alter standard conditions for caravan site licences

29 July - 9 September

We are consulting caravan site licence holders on proposed changes to the standard conditions for static, touring and residential caravan sites. Only licence holders and statutory agencies, Sussex Police and East Sussex Fire and Rescue can comment on the proposed changes.

The Licensing and General Purposes Committee considered the proposed standard conditions on 18 July 2016 and recommended a six week consultation period with caravan site licence holders and East Sussex Fire and Rescue. The committee believe that the existing conditions are in need of updating to meet current fire, electrical and safety standards.

All responses will be examined and if there are objections to any of the proposed conditions, this will be considered by the Licensing and General Purposes Committee in October 2016.
