Have your say on the best name for the Bexhill to Hastings Link Rd.

Rother District Council received dozens of suggestions of possible names for the new £113 million highway being constructed by East Sussex County Council.

The district council, which is responsible for naming the new road, is now asking the public to vote on 17 potential names, which will be whittled down to a shortlist of the five top favourites.

Go to this link, see the list and vote on your favourite name with the online survey:

LINK REMOVED: NO LONGER WORKING AS NOT CURRENT CONSULTATION.

The chosen name, Combe Valley Way, was selected from the shortlist by Rother District Council's Cabinet in July 2014.  The name was chosen to reflect that the road crosses the Combe Valley and because of its proximity to the Combe Valley Countryside Park.
